Maintaining your confidentiality and personal privacy is of the utmost importance to us. A web-based software called FluidSurveys will be used to collect your responses to questionnaires. FluidSurveys is a secure application designed to support surveys. All information collected using FluidSurveys is stored on secured servers in Canada. You will not be identified in any publication or presentation of this study. To protect your identity, any identifying information such as your e-mail address or name will be securely stored. We will not collect your IP address. No information about you or your child will be disclosed to others without your written permission, unless required by law.
What kind of information is being collected?
After creating a secure account, you will be asked to complete a few questionnaires regarding:
- Your knowledge about eating disorders
- Your belief in your ability to help your child recover
- The impact the eating disorder has on your family
- What meal times are like at home
- Demographic information
- What types of services your child is receiving
- Your satisfaction with the website and its content
You will complete all questionnaires and view all modules at a location of your choice, ideally in a private area such as at home.
